Very inspirational and perfect timing! Going through a rough break-up with 2 kids still at home, at this age I also have realized that I have lost track of my hopes and dreams, of who I am. Not to mention I broke my arm last week and need to figure out how to keep moving towards becoming my fittest self ever. Thanks for the motivation!

Joey,

I am one of your “quiet” followers. It isn’t that I don’t have a feedback or opinion -no. I simply listen and process until I’m ready to speak up. I only speak up when something is worth saying. My time has come, I guess :)

I think the recent two Transformational posts are the most powerful communication I’ve witnessed, and I applaud and thank you deeply for that. You may still not realize the potency this material has on your audience; however, the affirmation that midlife transformation is possible, and most importantly – achieved by ordinary women with no ambition to become cover page stories, is a tremendous relief from “I’ll embark tomorrow on my new lifestyle and expect to be a fitness model in a year”.
I think you just handed all mid age women the key to their own success: the level of transformation is reciprocal to the span of their own dreams xo

Hats down, Mr Atlas – ingenious, love it!

Hence, I’m on my way too. I got big dreams to chase :)
Thank you again.

Joey,

I’ve been down with the flu for 2 weeks and have been wondering if it was all worth it and that I may as well just give up. But I’ve lost 22lbs already my goal is closer and yet I have these thoughts going through my head. You are bombarding me every day with these emails and you don’t know how much good they’re doing me because I don’t want to get to that middle age crisis I want to be fit even before then. Now there’s only one thing to do. Get to work!!! 33 lbs to crunch and I hope to do it in 26 weeks or at least in the most part..

Thanks, Deb… You answered your own question… “Get to work!!!”
But you can’t see it as “work” – it’s simply daily actions and habits which are in line with your values, goals and desires.

Make sense?

Thank you to everyone who has shared their thoughts here. Reading through some of the comments it reminded me of those days when just getting out of bed was a monumental effort! But it just takes a little tweaking in our thinking to turn things around – and kudos to Joey for his blog and emails that are making that difference to so many lives.

I love what you said Melina: “the level of transformation is reciprocal to the span of our dreams”……

Find a bigger dream than the obstacles facing you…and the rest will follow!

I ordered the Get Lean Program. I haven’t started yet as I am finishing another one, but I felt compelled to comment. Since ordering the program, I have received several emails and personal attention adjusting it to fit my diet choices/limitations and problem area. I can’t say enough about what a pleasant surprise it was to have someone take an interest.

Thanks Joey,

I purchased this program for my wife last year. Her butt has significantly changed, for the better that is. Her stove pipes have been toned and her cellulite has almost dissapeared.

Thank you once again, we refer this program to all who want to listen.

Reading Belinda Benn’s story gave me the final push to embark on your program, Joey! I’d been toying with the idea for a while, but since I’ve always been fit, I kept putting it off… Then I realised that what was mostly missing from my life was support from like-minded people. Having hit my 40’s and witnessed all my formerly fit friends gain 20 pounds or more and no longer care about their shape made me realise I need some new friends who do not think I’m some sort of “freak”… Thanks, Bel and Joey!
